Preserving this special place and educating our children to appreciate the importance of wetland habitats.

About

Friends of Graham Creek Nature Preserve is a charitable organization formed to protect and make accessible this unique, biologically diverse natural area for the sake of preservation of native plant and animal species. We support educational activities such as school field trips.

Education

The City of Foley provides a robust educational program for school children at the preserve. Our role as Friends of GCNP is to help fund field trips, provide educational materials, and find other ways to bring the preserve's lessons alive for everyone.

Get Involved

You can join Friends of Graham Creek Nature Preserve as a member, or donate to support specific activities. Membership is $20 for an individual, $35 for a family per year -- or you can become a lifetime member for $200. We are an open group and all Friends financial records are open for inspection at any time.

Any amount will help sustain education at the preserve.  A typical school field trip costs about $300. A read-aloud book for preserve education is only $25. Whatever you choose, you'll be contributing to the future potential of both the preserve and the children who experience it.
